The night the first lightning struck black stone, every animal ran. One Inu stayed. Inside the glassy crater he heard voices that had not been born yet: subway brakes, camera shutters, a bassline from a basement club in 2026.
The sound burned a tiny second sun behind his eyes. From then on, he could see objects before anyone invented them. He carved their shapes into the cave wall so the future would know it had been expected.
The tribe called him The First because he was the first creature to remember tomorrow. They called him Super because time could bend him, but never break him.
“INU” was the only sound that survived every century unchanged.
